8. Prestige (n.) - प्रेस्टीज – प्रतिष्ठा
Along with earning money, we should also take care of the fact that prestige is more important than money.
One of the workers from Abhishek’s jewellery shop has been held in the theft of some gold jewellery, which has tarnished his and his business’ prestige significantly.
9. Elect (vt.) - इलैक्ट – चुनना
Every five years during the general elections, the people of the country get a chance to elect a candidate of their choice.
Whether the elections are at the panchayat level, state level, or national level; we should elect only those who have the will and capability to work for the nation.
10. Clarify (vt.) - क्लैरिफाई - स्पष्ट करना
When we are doing something which involves jurisdiction/legal procedures, then it should be clarified and enquired about thoroughly.
If we convey our thoughts in a roundabout manner, then nobody will be able to understand, and that’s why we should tell things in a more clarified way.
