There was no other laptop at Dimpy’s house as well, although one laptop was there with his father, yet its camera did not work, Dimpy got very nervous due to the sudden trouble. Dimpy could not understand anything, the presentation was going to start shortly, Dimpy was unable to come up with an idea. She started running around, hoping that she would get a laptop from somewhere and give her presentation on it. Dimpy’s mother already knew that power cut was going to take place, last night she had received a message from the electricity department. Dimpy’s mother knew that she was very careless, perhaps forgetting to charge the laptop and that is why she had requested for two laptops from the neighbours and had kept them, both of which were fully charged. Seeing her daughter upset, Dimpy’s mother handed both laptops in her hand and asked her to start the presentation immediately. With barely two minutes left to eight ‘o’clock, Dimpy started the presentation immediately without wasting any time, although Dimpy was late by five minutes, yet luckily the chief guest also got late by ten minutes that day. Dimpy completed the entire presentation in a very brilliant manner, all the people who were present in that presentation praised Dimpy very much and all seemed to be pretty much impressed. As soon as Dimpy’s presentation was over, she hugged her mother and started crying loudly. She told the mother that today it was only because of her that her entire presentation and along with that her prestige remainedintact, if she messed up even a little bit in it, then there would have been a lot of trouble. Dimpy then immediately asked her mother as in from where she came up suddenly with two laptops, there was no extra laptop at home. The mother said that she saw many times that Dimpy wasted electricity a lot; many times she ignored the instructions given. When the mother came to know about the news of the power cut, she thought this was the perfect chance to teach Dimpy a lesson, along with that she knew that Dimpy’s presentation was extremely important, so she had already taken two laptops from neighbours before it.
