Translation Exercise - 50

Siddharth was a twenty-year-old boy and studied medical sciences. Like all young people, he was also crazy about social media; he just kept talking to friends on Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat all day long. He used to upload pictures of every day from food and drinks to travelling. Eating noodles at times with someone or stepping out to drink coffee with his friends, everything was known to the outsiders before his family. Although he was very quiet and was an introvert, yet he had many friends on social media. Whether Siddharth knew a person or not, irrespective of that if anyone’s request came, he would immediately accept it. In this way, he had more than two thousand friends on Facebook, out of which only fifty to a hundred people were known to him. His older brother and father explained to him many times not to make connections with strangers. Many times Siddharth used to get strange messages from unknown people, messages of lottery and of winning some prize. He used to see all this and would ignore it, he knew that many such people sent such false messages to cheat and rob money from others. Siddharth was bright in studies and was the apple of the eye of all the teachers. Due to this thing many boys were jealous of him that he was so successful. Due to this many times, he was harassed/teased by some boys even in school but Siddharth did not panic and gave a fitting reply. One day suddenly a lot of messages started coming to Siddharth, be it Facebook or Instagram, many people started messaging him everywhere. Seeing so many messages, he got a little scared, he felt that something sort of big deal had happened while nothing much happened on that day.
