Sumit was not able to believe that his exam could go so much better than he had expected. He told at his home that his exam went extremely well and he expected the result to be great as well. Hearing this, his mother and father, both became really happy. Sumit started preparing for the next stage which was going to be held some two months from then. Civil services exam is a three-stage exam and this is why it is considered as one of the toughest exams. Sumit started studying with even greater belief and courage for his next stage. After ten days, first stage results were declared and Sumit was among the top 10 candidates who got the maximum marks. In a few days, the second stage exam was to be conducted for which Sumit was working hard with his heart and soul. Himanshu also cleared the first stage and started studying for the second round. How two months passed away, went unnoticed. The second stage of the exam was also written well by Sumit and he was confident of a good result. After one month when the results were declared, Sumit was extremely jubilant, he was selected for the interviews. Himanshu was left disappointed but he firmly decided to help Sumit with his preparation.
