As the case was from Bangalore, it would have been fought in the Karnataka High Court and so Manohar talked to his friend Sameer, who was a lawyer in the Karnataka High Court, told him the whole story, sent the video and immediately asked him to issue a warrant against Sangram Singh. Within a single day, a government notice came to Sangram Singh’s shop. Sangram Singh was not educated, so he got it read by a friend. When Sangram Singh came to know about the warrant, he just went mad and wasn’t able to figure out what he should do in that situation then. He immediately found a lawyer for himself and told him the whole story, after hearing the story; the lawyer asked Sangram Singh for Ten Lakh rupees, he knew that he was very unlikely to win in the case he was going to fight. A drowning man clutches at straws, Sangram Singh, without thinking much of his savings, gave Ten Lakh rupees to the lawyer, he wanted to save himself from going to jail. On the first day of the next week, on Monday, he was given a date to appear in the court, Sangram Singh appeared, children also came and Pritam also came along with them. The video was played in the court, the judge saw the video, and then gave Sangram Singh a chance to give his clarification. Sangram Singh tried to create a false story/cock and bull story to justify the video as fake, his lawyer also made many false arguments but to no avail. Finally, the judge sentenced Sangram Singh for a year, Also he had to pay a fine of thirty thousand. Not only this, Sangram Singh was given the responsibility that he would sponsor the education of those two children until those children were eighteen years old.
