आज English Speaking Course Day 34 में हम नीचे दिये गये Modal Verb Formations का प्रयोग समझते हैं।

Is/Am /Are + to करना है
Has/Have + to करना है / करना पड़ता है
Was/Were + to करना था
Had toकरना था / करना पड़ता था / करना पड़ा
Is/Am /Are + having toकरना पड़ रहा है
Will have to करना होगा/पड़ेगा

हमें उसके साथ क्यों खेलना पड़ा?

Important Concept

  • हम “has/have + to” की बजाय “has/have + got + to” या केवल “got + to” का भी प्रयोग कर सकते हैं। इससे अर्थ में परिवर्तन नहीं होता। 
    मुझे वहाँ जाना पड़ता है।
    I have to go there. / I have got to go there. / I got to go there.

  • हम “had + to” की बजाय “had + got + to” का भी प्रयोग कर सकते हैं। इससे भाव में परिवर्तन नहीं होता।
    मुझे वहाँ जाना पड़ता था।
    I had to go there. / I had got to go there. / I got to go there.

अमित को उसके घर जाना पड़ा।
Amit had to go to his house.

अमित को उसके घर नहीं जाना पड़ा।

मुझे आपसे मिलना होगा/पड़ेगा।
I will have to meet you.

हमें आपके घर आना होगा/पड़ेगा।
We will have to come to your home.

उन्हें आपसे बात करनी होगी/पड़ेगी।
