In this English Conversation, Between Two Friends Bulbul & Sanjana
Bulbul: I need your help, Sanjana. You remember I told you about this stray cat that we used to feed?
Sanjana: Yes, I remember. You can ask me for anything.
Bulbul: Well, turns out she was pregnant. She was taking shelter in our backyard for the last few days. Last night, she gave birth to three kittens. We have brought them inside our home. The cat likes us so she easily got settled here. I don’t know what else to do.
Sanjana: It’s okay. Calm down. This is very good news. Now tell me does the cat trust you and your family with the kittens, because cats can be extremely protective of their babies.
Bulbul: I guess so. She lets us go close to the kittens and she never acts violent or hisses on us.
Sanjana: Wonderful! You can’t do much for now. The kittens will be in the care of their mother. You need to take care of the cat. Make sure she eats properly. You can take her and the kittens to the vet after about a month.
Bulbul: I am trying to make them comfortable. We made a little bed for them in my bedroom, near the window. The cat roams around the house but the kittens stay there. Won’t we get any disease from them?
Sanjana: The infection spreads through their saliva and hair. Once you get them vaccinated you won’t have to worry about anything. For now, you can make sure they are clean.
Bulbul: Can you come over tomorrow and explain me everything so that I don’t make any mistake?
Sanjana: Sure. I can do that. I’ll drop by your place tomorrow morning.
